What it does

A repeatable review research workflow

From a review sample to a shortlist you can revisit.

  1. Analyze review samples in place

    On Amazon product and review pages, Review Scout summarizes the review sample you have opened: star breakdowns and recurring issue mentions, always shown with the sample size they came from.

  2. Save products locally, group them for comparison

    Products you have researched are kept on your own device and organized into comparison groups, so shortlists stay together across sessions.

  3. Rank by review-based fit

    Choose your criteria and weights. Review-based fit scores summarize issue mentions, while evidence confidence shows whether the sample supports a ranking. Products with insufficient evidence remain unranked.

  4. Follow every finding back to the original review

    Each mention links to the review it came from. Your inclusion and exclusion decisions and your notes are kept separately from the evidence itself.

  5. Export observations and backups

    Take your work out of the tool any time: CSV, Markdown, and JSON exports of observations and full backups.

Review collection starts when you choose it. Available Amazon review translations can be reused alongside the original text.

How Review Scout works

Try the comparison workflow in the browser demo now — no installation needed. Extension install and Pro purchase become available after release.

  1. Install the extension

    Once publicly released, Review Scout will be installable from the Chrome Web Store.

  2. Open Amazon and run Scout

    Navigate to any Amazon product or review page and trigger analysis on the current review sample.

  3. Save and compare evidence

    Save researched items locally into comparison groups and evaluate fit against your own weighted criteria.
